Why did I love this book?
I loved this book, first of all, because it’s set during the Civil War and because the author has a way of making you love the characters from the first page. This series actually goes on for generations, but this was the first book I read of Thanes and I was hooked after that.
I also like the incredible research she did to make the plot historically accurate.
